Fat Boy`s Roadside Eats in Chattanooga

This place is literally THE hidden gem of Chattanooga. My job takes me all over the city during the day and I’ve never been happier with a lunch. The bbq tacos here are fabulous and I’ve been dreaming about going back.

Food is delicious

The food is always amazing!! Worth the wait!! The Philly Eggrolls are one of my favourites and the BBQ is some of the best around!!!

Driven by this place so many times and decided to try it out. There was a wait to order, person taking phone orders is also taking window/walk up orders. I ordered a cheese burger, fries, and a fountain drink. The fountain drinks come in one size, HUGE. We had probably a 15 minutes +/- wait for our food to arrive. We dined inside, it was pretty cool, could use some cleaning and consistent attention.The burger was absolutely delicious and the fries were too. The burger was massive, two burger patties. The flavor was probably one of the best I've tasted. Fries were food service style shoe string, and were crispy with just the right amount of salt.Prices are somewhat premium and inline with casual fast dining (Applebee's, Chili's, etc.).

This is a must stop at place if you are in the area. BBQ is outstanding from the meat to the sauce. Onion rings were honestly the best that I’ve ever had. Great prices and can’t rave enough about the value and enormous portions.

Without a doubt the best value in town. Not only is the value insane the food is exceptional. There is so much food in everything you order and the food is delicious. I could not recommend Fat Boys highly enough. I nearly always get two meals out of each dish. They also have very unique and delicious sides and extras. If you haven't checked out Fat Boys do yourself a favor and fix that. The picture included is the Chimi Burrito smothered in queso. It is so good.

Amazing vegan menu! My family ordered the philly sandwich (huge) and Impossible burger, fries, tots, side of fried okra all to share. Everything was very flavorful and the vegan dipping sauce was also delicious and reasonably priced. Vegan comfort food at its best!

Best vegan place around. Will most definitely recommend this place. Food portions are amazing and the taste is incredible .I most definitely will be back time and time again

Everything I've tried hereaofar has been amazing. Try the mac and cheese pizza sandwich. Sounds crazy but will blow your mind!

Great food truck with indoor seating!

Food was delicious, service was friendly and fast. Indoor seating is nice for the days when you want to keep out of the sun or cold. Highly recommend this place, and don't forget the fry sauce!!

Great food and you will not leave hungry. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the thanksgiving burrito.

Portions are great, and the prices are good. The owner and staff are super friendly and they always create new items! Really enjoyed the double bacon cheeseburger.

Unreal flavors and surely at least one menu item you've never heard of before. Definitely a unique dining experience. Delicious vegan and vegetarian options available.

Lots of Food! I was with a group of 5 others. We all got something different and every single order was huge and delicious! The fries were a tremendous hit. I think maybe a light batter coating is used. Burritos, burgers, nachos. There is out door seating or an inside area. GO!

My girlfriend and i drove from cleveland because we heard this place was really good. Boy was they wrong. The philly i ordered the meat was overcooked and crunchy and super dry. With the dry meat and dry bread it made it hard to eat. Philly should be juicy and tender but so not what i received. The fries where over cooked. My girl thought she broke a tooth one was so hard. Sad when u go somewhere to eat and the ice water was the best part of the meal. This was our first visit and probably our last.

Love all the vegan options! Just about everything on the menu can be made vegan. The staff was great about checking ingredients and improvising to make changes to accommodate our diet. Delicious food and HUGE portions! Seriously the best Impossible Burger ever. Vegan Mac N Cheese is on point. So excited to find this place!

1st time eating here. Got the philly cheesteak egg rolls and they were amazing. Portion was much bigger than expected also. Highly recommend.

Once again I’m completely satisfied!!! These guys rock it out. Got the foot long philly. This ain’t no subway BS it’s huge and good. I called it in and they said 15 minutes, it was 15 minutes. Walked up paid and left. Quick, good portions and great taste.

I love their food! It is delicious, and reasonably priced. Also the new indoor seating area they added is very nice!

It's a great place to eat, with perfectly priced food. You will be very pleased with how much food you get for the price. FYI you might not be able to finish it all at once.

We went around 8pm on a Friday night as a party of seven and was able to get a table. Good service. Food came out reasonably fast. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Definitely come hungry. The Smokehouse Burger is ridiculously good.

Fat Boy's recently rolled out a new vegan menu, which has skyrocketed them to the top of my favorites. The service is always quick and friendly, and the food is delicious and decadent. Lighter options are limited, but then what're you doing at a place named Fat Boy's? Highly recommended!

The vegan philly cheese steak was amazing. Big vegan menu and vegan sides like mac n cheese. Sadly I am visiting from Colorado and won't get to experience Fat Boy's delicious food again. Thanks for a great meal Fat Boy's!

Was skeptical at first but the food was amazing and the amount on your plate is enough to feed.2-3 people. Absolutely worth trying

It was great. Massive amount of food. Got the mac n cheese pizza sandwich and sweet potato french fries, all amazing even the pizza reminded me of school and the mac n cheese mmmm. Also the frito pie and smoked corn slaw, perfect flavor on the cole slaw and the frito pie had to weigh 5 pounds lol. Its a have to try because you will come back.

Burger & fries where great. Brother In-law ordered the Spicy Chicken burrito (not sure it was listed as a burrito but that's how it came), anyway it was huge, had to be at least 2 pounds. He said it was really good but was getting hot Midway through. Overall great food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Pork belly burger was awesome, great food here , worth the price, you wont go hungry that is for sure.

Great, helpful service. Definitely on the heavy, greasy side of American food - not as fresh. But they have lots of vegan options if you ask!! Not many places have these alternatives and we are so grateful for a little more variety to our restaurant options.

The menu is pleasantly creative. You have to order outside at a window but then you can either sit outside or tell them you'd like to sit inside. The indoor seating is colorful, creative and very clean. The staff are friendly and very organized. Holdout from 5 stars is there wasn't a sign on the first door you come up to explaining how it works.

I got their Philly steak cheese tots. They will fill you up by themselves. They also have a wonderful tasting bbq burrito. You can't leave here without being full.

Gigantic delicious smokehouse burger! We just finished whitewater rafting the Ocoee and we’re hungry. They were generous for the price and fantastic. Try the brisket tacos too!

Best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve ever had. It was the vegan one and I personally think it beats any meat Philly I’ve ever had, it was that delicious.

They were able to make the Thanksgiving burrito with VEGETARIAN TURKEY for me! It was so good!!

My husband and I are vegan, and we heard nothing but great things about this place. The vegan menu is huge, the food is delicious, and the portions are huge! We have been to many places in Chattanooga, TN and Savannah, GA to eat vegan food, and this place was by far the best. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for such great food and great service! It’s no wonder this place has 600 reviews with 5 stars.

So it was our first time to eat here..!!! Being gluten free, vegetarian and my wife a meat eater - ...we asked for any suggestions.???? They were so informative and helpful and FRIENDLY.!!! So we ended up with a impossible cheese burger w/ tots ( perfectly crisp & fried in fresh oil).!!!! And the brisket tacos that were stuffed and DELICIOUS... man was it a great day...... Placed order, was told food would be out shortly, waited 35 minutes, left with 15 minutes to eat lunch. A couple that came after managed to get their food first. Not coming back, I hate when things aren't in order and people lie.Edit* fries are stone cold.

The food was okay. Definitely not worth the price. There was a lot of food but it was not that great tasting. The chocolate cake was dry but big. My sons Mac and Cheese was dry and hard. The burrito was at least freshly cooked. Also, I had to go back because they had forgotten to add my cake.

Excellent service and awesome food. Can eat either inside or outside. Fair prices also. Always leave full.
